1. Second edition of Competition “EuroPuzzle-Unity through Diversity “

First place


Program "Unity through Diversity Europuzzle" - Second Edition of FEstudIS 2006, was held in the 5th Students Iasi Festival, period 17-27 May 2006. The program is a model of good practice in promoting the culture of European countries and the concept of "Unity through Diversity”, became a source of instigating cooperation and understanding.

On the activities in this program, on May 20, 2006, has been a show - contest “EuroPuzzle - Unity through Diversity ", where both young professionals and amateurs have held various artistic events (dance, music, drama, pantomime, etc.) who played the national character of European countries.
The show ended with a competition in which participants had the opportunity to demonstrate their talent and ingenuity.

Experimental Dance Ensemble Coconiţe manifested first time in the program where they took first place with choreographyv ''Oh, my beloved flower'' , a stylized folk dance influenced oriental .16 people attended the this dance, choreography being signed by Lavinia Răileanu.

Event organized by the Association of Carpathian Doina (Doina Carpaţilor) and Students House of Culture during 16 to 18 May 2008. Along with many artists, Coconiţe Ensemble participated in the festival with many artistic programmes.



11. Tempted in FAITH - Opening

MAY 26, 2008

Event organized by Iulian Tomulescu and Lavinia Răileanu, the Athenaeum Tătăraşi on May 26, 2008.

''With this project we wanted to create a link between the public and the spiritual atmosphere transmitted through image and movement. The power of temptation and the power of prayer are reflexes of the human soul since ancient times to today, thus creating intense feelings of doubt and faith, of hope and resistance to their ideas and images. The dance is a description of the struggle represented between faith and temptation, between sensuality and purity, between power and strength. With this dance we try to maintain the exhibition’s intention to make a transposition of the receptor in the creativity through biblical theme of temptation and faith.'' Lavinia Răileanu

12.INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF TRADITIONAL ART (Iasi)

13 to 15 JUNE 2008

Event organized by the “Moldova” National Museum Complex – Ethnographic Museum of Moldova in cooperation with the Municipality of Iaşi, Tourism Development Bureau, County Department for Culture, Cults and National Patrimony Iaşi, under the aegis of Cultural Programme Iaşi - 600, being the first Edition of International Festival of Traditional Art. The event was held during 13 to 15 June 2008 on the esplanade of the Palace of Culture Iaşi.
This event was attended by:
1. Popular Handymen from European countries
2. Dance ensembles, including Coconiţe Experimental Dance Ensemble who participated with various artistic programmes.




13. SIGHIŞOARA MEDIEVAL FESTIVAL, 16th EDITION
25 to 27 JULY 2008

The festival organized by the city of Sighişoara, in 2008, was called The MASK. At the event were invited over 600 artists, including Coconiţe Experimental Dance Ensemble.



14. International Symposium Visual Arts "Human"

10 to 24 AUGUST


"Human" - International Symposium of Visual Arts took place from 10 to 24 August 2008, in the village Cucuteni and it had as main theme the ROGVAIV - exercises of combination each color of the solar spectrum with natural elements, moods, feelings, experiences using various materials, tools and human body.
Coconiţe Ensemble was invited to support an artistic programme that represented red colour.

Organizers: "Ars continua" Association, Iaşi in partnership with the County Department for Culture, Cults and National Cultural Heritage and Hall Cucuteni, Iaşi.





15. MULTICULTURAL IASHINGTON Fair 2008

SEPTEMBER 6, 2008

The event was organized by AIESEC, the largest international youth organization in the world, present in 107 countries, on September 6, 2008.

Coconiţe Experimental Dance Ensemble has been invited along with other groups and assemblies to achieve a multicultural show.

17.On Dream Wings

October 10, 2008

The show 'On Dream Wings', was supported by COCONIŢE Ensemble on October 10, 2008 at the Athenaeum Tătăraşi. The show is a symbol of the desire for freedom that one feels in the depths of every human soul. The dream, boldly unlimited space, is a perfect setting in which man can fulfill his desires and hopes that society and life abridge in a material and intentional logic. The reason disappears when the child emerges in us, causing a sense of innocence that we can dare more, to love pure, to dream honest, to play again without feeling the burden of adulthood. On Dream Wings suggests a journey, not in the world, but in us, a simple search of time seen through the eyes of a child: we open with him a book of stories that everyone will read how it wants, being led on the wings of innocence and imagination''. 19. Incantation - exhibition

FEBRUARY 4, 2009

Event organized by Iulian Tomulescu and Art Galleries-Cupola, on February 4, 2006.
The exhibition theme was to represent the Hindu myth of the tree of life and death, with artistic support consisting of paper, tracing and projector. The works presented in this exhibition, titled Incantation, intentionally exceeded the "soul storming" moment proposed in the first event KALPATARU - Temptation in faith. The expressiveness of the present exhibition is based entirely on the concept: The beauty is in the viewer eyes - soul.
Coconiţe Ensemble supported this project through image, movement and incantations spoken to each viewer.


20. ’’ABSYNTHE’’ BY CHRISTIAN LACROIX

FEBRUARY 12, 2009

Event organized by AVON 069, Iaşi, in Dublin Pub - Students House, on February 12, 2009, at the launch of a new fragrance ''Absynthe'' by Christian Lacroix.
Coconiţe Experimental Dance Ensemble was special guest, performing an artistic programme prepared especially for this perfume.
The choreography signified a wonderful, mysterious world, where fantastical characters were creating this fragrance in a magical dance.

Event organized by FRIENDSHIP UNIVERSE ASSOCIATION on June 05, 2009 at Athenaeum Tătăraşi.
Guest for the artistic programme was the Coconiţe Experimental Dance Ensemble and the theater group from High School TRIMBULINZII, Nicolina, Iaşi.

The event was attended by Valeriu Stancu, President of Union of Writers - Iaşi branch, Aurel Ştefanache- author and other personalities of Iaşi.

'Among them!...'' is a show from yesterday and today, with an incert tomorrow. Today, when we desperately / with enthusiasm seek for our origin, with the hope that we will know where we are going, we forget completely the present time, the stage that we reached. Everything seems normal, but is it really natural? The show exposes what we are or what we will become if we don't stop a moment from our ceaseless wandering in the false needs of society. We are dedicating this show to children and all those who want to reflect on issues raised by us, while removing indifference to what we most value: love and innocence.

30. LAUNCH OF 'Winter'' POEMS / ARTISTIC PROGRAM - "Computer addiction"

Friday, December 11, 2009, at the Athenaeum Tătăraşi, was launched the fourth volume of poetry of the FRIENDSHIP UNIVERSE ASSOCIATION. Coconiţe Experimental Dance Ensemble developed an artistic programme with theme "computer addiction" in today's society. Books pages will dance for the young caught in computer's entangling, with the hope that they will attract his attention from it.
